Subject: Important School Board Election Information

We have seen the positive changes that can result when we have school board members who support students and teachers. Three of the five board members are up for election and we need to make sure we help elect the best candidates. Especially if you live in Districts 2 or 3, make sure you cast your ballot. If you have friends or family in those districts, please encourage them to vote as well.
Just let me know if you have any questions!

NEA Endorsed Candidates:
(District map below)
District 1 - Ray Jaramillo - unopposed
District 2 - Terrie Dallman - newly retired teacher who knows what it's like to be in the classroom, wants to address budget, staffing, and testing issues
District 3 - Maria Flores - has been doing an amazing job advocating for students and teachers as our board president (I have personally seen her support us in major ways many times!), she's established a great relationship with our new superintendent and will work hard to help us
